Painting Session: Critically analyzing the next step after reckless abandon!
Critical analysis is the second phase of my Whole Artists Mastery process, right after Phase 1, Reckless Abandon, and right before Phase 3, Integration, and finally Phase 4, Resolution. The painting I work with this week has been in hibernation for several months, and I’m ready to have another go at it starting with looking keenly at what I have which is what I call critical analysis. This is very much a thinking stage of a painting where I assess what I like, what I don’t, and apply a number of criteria to decide my next move. I hope this is useful to you. I invite your questions and any comments you have generally. I love hearing from you.
